As summer comes to a close, and cool fall temperatures begin in the northeastern United States, our dedicated client outreach team — consisting of Jen M., Victoria, Julie, Denise, Greg, Elo, Laura, Jen W., Chris, Bryan, and Craig — has been connecting with publications, agencies, and brands and diligently updating records in our extensive database.
During September, the team added 50 new company records and updated 542 existing records. The team also added 268 new individuals to the client list and updated 1,391 existing individual records. Our staff also sent out 1,391 emails to clients and continued to recommend photographers for various projects around the world.
Jen W. recently connected with a Washington, D.C.-based photo producer/editor for Discovery and recommended some of our Washington, D.C. member photographers for an architectural interior project. She was also in touch with an art director at Northwestern Magazine, the quarterly alumni magazine for Northwestern University, and suggested photographers for an environmental portrait in Memphis, Tennessee.
Julie connected with a senior producer at Comcast about setting them up with a login to our website to enable our new favoriting and sharing features.
This month Elo focused on client list builds and other consulting projects, but she did connect with the owner of Aspen Productions, a film production agency based in Colorado. They frequently hire photographers to capture still photos to accompany videos and were thrilled to discover Wonderful Machine’s extensive network of photographers.
Chris touched base with the NY-based photo editor for Stern Magazine who has been a fan of ours for many years. She was sourcing photographers for a project in the Caribbean, and Chris was able to help her with some recommendations.
Executive producer Craig Oppenheimer worked with Washington, D.C.-based photographer Ryan Donnell to produce a pharmaceutical campaign for a Philly-based agency. He also connected with Arc Worldwide who asked him to bid on a project for an alcoholic beverage purveyor and with Hint Creative to discuss a campaign for a major auto maker in various cities around the country. Craig and our production team were also in touch with Momentum Worldwide to discuss projects for a multinational retail brand and a credit card company.
