Los Angeles based photographer Cade Martin has the refreshing ability to take something ordinary and make it extraordinary in quite a magical way. So, it’s no surprise that Shaw Flooring recently approached Cade when looking to refresh its brand image and move away from the interior shots of its traditional campaigns. Shaw was drawn to the style that Cade demonstrates through his award-winning Starbucks campaign, and asked him for a similar treatment of their flooring.
The shoot took place at Barnsley Gardens, a striking Gothic-style castle in Georgia that juxtaposes gorgeous gardens with buildings in disrepair. The contrast carried through to the piece as Cade replaces perfect lawns with plush carpeting, cracked stone with beautiful hardwood floors and aged cement with stunning rugs.
