The month of June brought some shifts in the WM team, with our researchers and outreachers rotating their positions and creating new target lists. As usual, their goal was to make meaningful connections for our photographers, putting their work in front of the right people at publications, brands, and agencies.
Publications: Meli took on this charge all by herself this month, focusing on adding publications to our database based on specialty. Meli focused on researching and adding publications by specialties so that she could fill any gaps within our database and expand our client network in specific directions. This way, she was able to make sure that our photographers had opportunities with many prospects that suited their different specialties and styles. Meli also managed to expand the publications client list to include even more international clients.

Brands: For the month of June, Morgan and Julia focused on adding major brands to the database both local and worldwide. Julia focused on local outreach while Morgan completed adding the Fortune 1000 list to the database. They added 473 new prospects and sent 273 individualized emails. They then followed up with 151 phone calls and made 39 connections and 4 meetings with potential clients.
Agencies: After her work with publications, Meli teamed up with Claire to tackle agencies, collectively sending 229 emails and following up with 159 phone calls to art directors around the world. Of the 13 connections they made they were able to scheduled 10 meetings (all of which were portfolio events) to showcase the great work of our photographers. Claire booked meetings in Dallas, New York, and Washington DC.
