For the month of December, we decided to focus on boosting our Google search results for our shoot production services. Therefore, we decided to only run Google AdWords for the month (no Facebook campaigns this time around) and really focus on getting those keywords searching in our favor. We also had a bit of fun and tried out a more humorous tagline for the ad.
Here’s a look at what the ad looked like:
The post itself was seen 75,107 times between December 1st and December 31st, and we had a total of 323 clicks to the site.
Here’s the pattern of the impressions over the course of the month:
The keywords we chose to focus on were ones that we strategically add into the metadata on our site. The reason for this is so that Google recognizes a matchup between the ad that we are sharing and our site content.
The top 10 strongest keywords for us ended up being:
•Commercial Photography •Advertising Photography •Shoot Production •Creative Director •Executive Producer •In-House Production •Photography Companies •Photo Shoot Producer •Photo Shoot Production •Production Catering.
Our top keyword, commercial photography, received 19,917 impressions, outranking 2nd and 3rd popular keywords by a significant amount, receiving 6,332 and 5,333 impressions respectively.
