Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffett once said, “It’s Five O’clock Somewhere,” and we are channeling that energy in this week’s Creative in Place: The Hard Stuff
The photographer logo or wordmark is the foundation of your visual identity — the visual representation of your company’s core values or brand. A logo can drive the look and feel of all your marketing materials. After all, it appears anywhere your business name appears.
We’re picking the tempo in this week’s Creative in Place: Carry a Tune. From New Orleans jazz to classical concertos, Rick Rubin to Lin Manuel-Miranda, if this week’s Creative in Place were a Spotify channel you’d have all music genres covered!
In January, Wonderful Machine photographers helped us settle into the new year with two Creative in Place image requests “A New Beginning” and “Star Power.”
Get up close and personal with the rich and famous in this week’s Creative in Place: Star Power. Our photographers have shared their most recognizable subjects from the big (and small) screen.
To stretch the creative muscles of photographers at home and to show off how Wonderful Machine can coordinate hundreds of photographers on short notice, we’ve developed Creative In Place.
With the holiday season approaching, the Wonderful Machine elves are busy reaching out to clients, setting up meetings, and showing off our talented photographers.
Who are we reaching out to? Our October phone call article sums up the conversations between our outreach team and clients. From email to portfolio events, we are on a roll to showcase portfolios and gain resources.
Wonderful Machine traveled up to New York City for some pre-winter break portfolio reviews. Here, we met with Family Circle, Glamour, Stern, and McCann Echo, to share the work of our talented members.
In September 2017, we participated in Photoville, a huge immersive photography event held in Brooklyn, NY every year. Now that Photoville is behind us, Associate Producer Claire shares with us the ins and outs of planning the event and how it went!
As we await the changing leaf colors of Fall, Halloween festivities, and sweater weather, we take a moment to look back at September’s analytics and how we here at Wonderful Machine fared.
California-based photographer Brandon Flint came to us looking for a new print promo. He had a previous card layout but, while pleased with the design, felt the photo selection didn’t represent his work as a whole. As we talked more, I saw the bigger picture. Brandon didn’t just want new photo selects—he wanted a card he would be excited to mail and hand to clients.
UK-based automotive photographer Dom Romney recently approached Wonderful Machine about an emailer design, and I was lucky enough to get the chance to take on the project. Dom had previously worked with us on his print portfolio and now needed an emailer with the same personality.
