February’s numbers show a small decrease in trends from last year. We had 13,993 users, compared to 14,247 visitors in 2018. Sessions were down 7.22% from last year, but the number of sessions per user increased by 1.29% since January. Half of our users came from search engines — 98% of which, from Google organic search. Google makes up 88% of the search market, so there is room for improvement in all other engines.
Our top five countries start with the United States, followed by the United Kingdom, Canada, India, and lastly Indonesia. Acquisition reports still show a slow and steady increase of international activity when compared to last year, with the United States representing 54.68% of total traffic, compared to 59.93% in 2018.
Photographer profile views were down to 12,287 from 14,867 last year. Profile clickthroughs were also down from 6,667 to 5,322 this month.

The Member blog’s traffic still shows a decrease from the year before. We found a 1% decrease with views going to 8,920 this year. However, compared to the previous month, the member blog increased by 1.5%. Expert Advice: The Photographer’s Bio holds the lead for most traffic in the new year, followed by our Expert Advice: Finding a Rep and Expert Advice: Pricing And Negotiating.
