Jeremy Segal works as a hospitality and architectural photographer and videographer in Vancouver. After working with him as a Marketing Partner for 6 months, we decided to focus on connecting with the clients on the list we had created. Our Email Marketing Campaign program is perfect for this, especially with a photographer who’s as busy as Jeremy.
For this program we send out monthly email campaigns to a list of clients we have created or that the photographer already has. The emails will feature new projects or collections of images that show off their work. The regular emails help the photographer’s name stay in the client’s inbox as well as on their minds. It’s a great way to stay in touch.
We start with an editorial calendar so it’s easy for the consultant and the photographer to stay on top of things. Photographers who are busy are encouraged to send links to their work for several months’ worth of email campaigns. We usually like to work in Mailchimp for this service. If a photographer doesn’t have an email template they are already working with, we’re happy to design one for them. Using a professionally designed template helps to keep things consistent and on brand. It also makes it easier for the consultant to create emails month after month by easily switching out images and text.
Jeremy initially wanted to alternate emailing his architectural contacts and his hospitality contacts. However, after 2 months he decided he wanted to focus on the hospitality clients because that’s the area of his business he would like to grow the most.
We’ve featured various projects with hotels and restaurants. Keeping Jeremy top of mind for these clients has proved to be beneficial. He’s had several clients reach out about projects from his list. Jeremy’s mailing list includes contacts he already had before we started Marketing Partner. The monthly email has reactivated older leads which has also led to more inquiries.
A consistent marketing effort like email marketing campaigns will keep potential clients in touch with you and increase the chances that your name pops up when it’s time to make a decision on a project.
