Multiple Photographer Spotlights shared the limelight this October, while Instagram and Pinterest enjoyed rapidly climbing numbers. Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn sat comfortable with their slow but steady growth, and YouTube is lying in wait for some juicy BTS content! As temperatures drifted lower, our numbers climbed higher on Instagram this October, as our page reach increased to 5.7K. That’s a happy lift of +23% compared to September — perhaps in part due to the allure of spooky season, as you’ll see below.
The superlative for Most Popular Post this month goes to our Creative in Place: Weird Science post, featuring ten different photographers, 164 likes, and a total reach of 2.4K:
And as hinted, the creep factor proved popular as well, with our Halloween post clutching onto 105 likes and a reach of 1.2K:
Our Stories took a different turn, with Greenville, South Carolina-based Will Crooks reaching 316 views on his Photographer Spotlight feature:

Our top board was Home & Garden, with 10K impressions and 629 engagements.
Our top pin, however, was a lone wolf — or lone fox, if you will. This fantastical, conceptual image from Los Angeles-based Tanit Sakakini secured 198 impressions and 11 engagements:
Facebook remained steady, with a total reach of 1.7K. This number comes from anyone who has seen our page, not just individual posts.
Istanbul, Turkey-based Bradley Secker took the cake for reach, with his camel-packed Photographer Spotlight earning a reach of 731, with 9 total clicks:
However, Nashville, Tennessee-based Abigail Bobo‘s Photographer Spotlight took the crown for clicks, sporting 12 total clicks and a reach of 688:
October on LinkedIn saw more slow but steady growth, with 345 page views and 33 new followers.
Austin, Texas-based Inti St. Clair had a clean win this month as well, with her Photographer Spotlight garnering 318 impressions:
Twitter may be one of our least active platforms, but it still brings home some numbers every month! This October, we saw 496 profile visits and 1.1K total impressions.
Our top tweet is attributed to Highland Park, Illinois-based Morgan Ione and her recent Unpublished project, gleaning 119 impressions:
