In August, Wonderful Machine received stock requests from Condé Nast Traveller and AARP’s The Ethel Magazine. Both were unmanaged stock requests, which means the photographer negotiated the usage of the images on their own.
Condé Nast Traveller was in need of striking and stylized travel images for two upcoming features. One is a feature on flights, and another is a feature on cruises. The request was for a one-time print editorial use.
AARP’s e-newsletter The Ethel was seeking images of the following locations near San José, Costa Rica:
• Hacienda La Chimba: Photos of the grounds, the Mantra hiking trail which takes you through coffee plantations, the large Buddha statue with stunning vistas, and the wooden hand structure in the forest called “La Mano del Mantra.”
• Don Ernesto Hotel & Spa: Exteriors, interiors, and grounds.
The request was for one-time web editorial use.
