We can’t deny it’s been a hot summer. This August, we saw not only an increase in temperature but in WM web traffic as well. Wonderfulmachine.com brought in a total of 16,383 sessions from 11,724 users. Check out the overview below:
As usual, the U.S. pulled in the most traffic with 10,684 sessions. The U.K. came in second place with 732 sessions, and Canada came in third with 538 sessions. Also notable is that Mexico made our top ten list for the first time this year, which is likely due to the Facebook ad we ran there this month. Check out the full chart below!
In total, our photographers received 7,876 click-throughs to their websites, making an average of 11 clicks per person. Just to put that in perspective, it means that nearly 50% of the 16,383 sessions on our website resulted in a click-through to a photographer’s site. San Diego-based travel photographer Mark Skovorodko received the most traffic at 35 clicks to his site, and Atlanta-based portraiture and fashion photographer Elliot Liss followed close behind with 34. San Francisco-based travel and lifestyle photographer duo Trinette + Chris and Charlotte-based outdoor and lifestyle photographer Mark Hanson tied for third place with 33 clicks to their sites. Here are the top ten-clicked photographer sites below:
The blog received 6,849 pageviews this month. You’ll notice that Mark Skovorodko’s blog post had the most pageviews, and he was also the most clicked photographer this month. Photographers, keep that in mind when thinking of ways to increase your traffic! By sending us cool recent projects, we may be able to write a story about you on the blog, which can put a spotlight on your work and direct people to your site.
