At Wonderful Machine, we work to build relationships with all sorts of blogs, publications, podcasts, associations, equipment manufacturers, and other organizations in our industry. Our Partnership efforts have two components: sharing valuable information about our industry and publicizing our member photographers.
In July, four different websites shared our articles, including Pro Photo Daily, DIY Photography, aPhotoEditor, and Phoode.
We frequently contribute to AI-AP’s photography blog, Pro Photo Daily. This month, they shared our Spotlight article, The Why Behind The Wish: Sonya Revell For Make-A-Wish. Miami-based photographer Sonya Revell captured conceptual portraits of five “wish kids” who have since experienced improvements in health.
DIY Photography is a valuable resource for photographers. They provide insights on all sides of the trade – from industry to craft, including tutorials, reviews, and more. This month, they shared an article from our Intel blog, Crew: Post Production (Video).
Over the last decade, we actively collaborated with the photography blog aPhotoEditor. They regularly feature our Pricing & Negotiating articles, authored by one of our producers. The articles analyze a negotiated estimate between a photographer and a client (with names redacted) to illustrate how the two parties reached a successful agreement. In July, they shared our article, Pricing & Negotiating: Retail Store & Product Images For An Athletic Apparel Brand.
Food-based photography site Phoode republished our Spotlight article Buff Strickland Makes The Cut For Swift Meats. Austin-based food and lifestyle photographer Buff Strickland skillfully captured the tender moments that families create when they cook and eat together.
