At Wonderful Machine, we work to build relationships with all sorts of blogs, publications, podcasts, associations, equipment manufacturers, and other organizations in our industry. Our Partnerships efforts have two components: sharing industry information and publicizing our member photographers.
In October, we pitched our articles to aPhotoEditor, DIY Photography, Pro Photo Daily, Rocky Mountain School of Photography, and more. Four articles were republished: two Expert Advice, one Pricing & Negotiating, and one Photographer Spotlight.
DIY Photography shares insights into the industry and art of photography, providing resources such as tutorials, reviews, and more. This month they shared one Expert Advice article.
Expert Advice: Going Viral On Social Media takes you through the immediate aftermath of going viral, long-term goals, and more.
Wonderful Machine has had a partnership with photography blog aPhotoEditor for over ten years now. They often republish our Pricing & Negotiating articles, which one of our producers contributes each month. The articles analyze a negotiated estimate between a photographer and a client (with names redacted) to illustrate how the two parties reached a successful agreement. In October, they shared our article, Pricing & Negotiating: Celebrity For Food Brand.
Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Missoula, Montana, offers a variety of photography education programs, workshops, and online courses. RMSP recently shared Expert Advice: Self-Assigned Projects. The article explores the significance of self-assigned projects, how to delve into the creative process, and more.
We frequently contribute to AI-AP’s photography blog, Pro Photo Daily. This October, they shared our Photographer Spotlight article Restoring Africatown: Dan Anderson for Heart 9/11. Photographer Dan Anderson captured stills and video of Heart 9/11’s volunteers as they restored homes Mobile, Alabama’s Africatown community.
