During the first month of the New Year, Wonderful Machine received three stock requests. Of those, two were unmanaged requests (meaning the photographer negotiated usage of the images on their own) from Der Spiegel Magazine and the third was an unmanaged request for The Wall Street Journal.
The first request that came through from Der Spiegel was for recent images of people and subjects for a story on Elon Musk — for one-time publication use.
Der speigel’s second request was for recent photos of the French economist Gabriel Zucman. This request too was for one-time publication use.
The Wall Street Journal was seeking images of David Malm — a managing partner at Webster Equity Partners. This request was for one-time print and web use.
