March’s stock requests kept us on our toes, with two managed requests from the New York Times for images of popular Nike, New Balance, and Reebok shoes.
During the first month of the New Year, Wonderful Machine received three stock requests. Of those, two were unmanaged requests from Der Spiegel Magazine and the third was an unmanaged request from The Wall Street Journal.
This December during the holiday season, Wonderful Machine received two stock requests from Der Spiegel Magazine. Both were unmanaged stock requests (meaning the photographer negotiated usage of the images on their own) for one-time publication use.
With the thrill and excitement of Halloween fresh on our minds, our stock requests in October were as fruitful as a child’s trick or treat basket. Wonderful Machine received five stock requests during the spookiest month of the year — four unmanaged and one managed.
Wonderful Machine received two stock requests during the first month of the golden autumn season. One came in from GEO Magazine, France and the second from Travel + Leisure.
As summer nears an end, our stock requests centered around travel and lifestyle imagery. We received two requests in August — AAA Westways Magazine was seeking photos of the French countryside and the American Cancer Society inquired about lifestyle images of women over age 40.
July was a summer month with a high heat index and a rise in stock requests at Wonderful Machine. Elliman Magazine, Amica Magazine, AARP and AT&T all submitted requests this month.
With Summer on the horizon, our May stock requests were heating up with a long list of international and local lifestyle images from Travel + Leisure and the State of Georgia Department of Public Health.
From travel to tech, our April Stock Requests differed in their subject matter, from the coastal Hobbit Restaurant to former Apple designer Jony Ive, yet maintained a colorful outlook across the board.

March was a good month for stock requests, with Wonderful Machine receiving asks from the likes of Travel + Leisure and People Magazine, among other big-name clients.
We love getting stock requests from a mix of new and old clients, and February was no different on that front. See which notable publications came to us with stock requests this past month, including one for the very first time.
We receive a steady stream of stock requests throughout the year, and although things usually slowdown in December, two big clients reached out to us to source a variety of images.
